Midland Parks & Gardens
Started in 1899, Dow Gardens includes hundreds of identified trees, shrubs and flowers. Herbert H. Dow established the gardens and since then, the gardens has received thousands of visitors every year.
The Tridge is a three-legged pedestrian footbridge, covering the Forks and the confluence of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa rivers. This park is one of the most visited downtown areas in Midland and the beginning of Midland's rail trail as well.
Dow Gardens are located 30 minutes from Mount Pleasant. There are more than 1700 types of plants and trees and 110 acres of walking paths.
Trilogy Skate Park is located in Chippewassee Park, just over the bridge in downtown Midland. This facility offers an outdoor area for both skateboards and in-line skates.
